Inductee Biography for JERRY RIOPELLE

Jerry RiopelleJerry Riopelle began a music career in Los Angeles in the 1960’s where he became an independent record producer. He later was a staff writer for Screen Gems and produced his first record which led to a gig as a staff writer and producer with Phil Spector at Philles records.

He produced hits for BONNIE AND THE TREASURES, BREWER & SHIPLEY and others. His songs were covered by LEON RUSSELL, HERB ALPERT, KENNY LOGGINS, MEAT LOAF and others.

In the early 70’s Jerry Riopelle recorded his first album on CAPITOL records and became very popular in the Phoenix area and is famous for his New Years Eve shows at local venues. Riopelle and his son, Paul, currently are partners marketing a creative digital computer and laser music interactive system known as THE BEAMZ.
