In the Fall of 2002 a like-minded group of individuals formed the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame (AMEHOF). All non-profit incorporation papers were developed, a board was formed, officers elected and two deserving individuals were inducted into the newly formed Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. Our first inductees were Wayne Newton on December 8, 2002 and Alice Cooper on December 19, 2002.

The AMEHOF is an all Volunteer organization. No one is making money off the AMEHOF. We need the support of the public to continue this project. We are always looking for interested people who can volunteer some time on any of our Committees.

Board of Directors Committee Chairpersons:

ADVISORY COUNCIL COMMITTEE: Noel Fray

The Advisory Council are the people who nominate and then vote on the Inductees The Advisory Council Committee represents the Advisory Council. The Advisory Council Committee handles the applications submitted and compiles the contact database, sends out the monthly Advisory Council Newsletter and oversees the nomination and voting procedures for new Inductees

EVENT COMMITTEE: Marcia Harmon

The Event committee oversees the AMEHOF events including Benefits, Advisory Council mixers/meetings and the Induction Ceremony.

PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE: T.B.D.

The Public Relations Committee acts as the liaison between the AMEHOF and all national and local media. This committee oversees all aspects of the public image of the AMEHOF.

PRODUCTION COMMITTEE: T.B.D.

The Production Committee is responsible for all Audio aspects of the AMEHOF. Sound production and recordings come under this committee’s domain.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY: Steve Wargo

The Photography and Videography Committee is responsible for all Visual aspects of the AMEHOF. Film, video recordings and photography come under this committee’s domain.

ARCHIVE COMMITTEE: T.B.D.

The Archive committee is responsible for all storage and cataloging of AMEHOF materials and exhibit artifacts. They work directly with the Physical Hall committee to store the exhibit items and keep track of them. They also store all the commercial items (T-shirts, etc.) for sale to the public.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE: T.B.D.

The Fundraising Committee oversees all fundraising activities including obtaining grants, donations and sponsors for AMEHOF events

INDUCTEE RELATIONS COMMITTEE: Susan Wood

The Inductee Relations Committee maintains a contact database for all Inductees and posts news items on the website concerning the Inductees.

WEBSITE COMMITTEE: Noel Fray

The Website committee is concerned with anything pertaining to the website or internet content in general.

PHYSICAL HALL COMMITTEE: T.B.D.

This committee will oversee all aspects of the actual “Hall” building and design of exhibits.

VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE: Elaine Kurtz

This committee will oversee & coordinate all aspects of AMEHOF volunteers.

PUBLIC OUTREACH PROGRAMS COMMITTEE: Beve Cole

This committee will develop educational programs for schools, libraries, community clubs and organizations, small businesses and corporations.
