In the Fall of 2002 a like-minded group of individuals formed the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. All non-profit incorporation papers were developed, a board was formed, officers elected and two deserving individuals were inducted into the newly formed Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. Our first inductees were Wayne Newton on December 8, 2002 and Alice Cooper on December 19, 2002.

The AMEHOF is an all Volunteer organization. No one is making money off the AMEHOF. We need the support of the public to continue this project. We are always looking for interested people who can volunteer some time on any of our Committees.

COMMITTEE Chairpersons:

ADVISORY COUNCIL COMMITTEE: Otto D'Agnolo The Advisory Council are the people who nominate and then vote on the Inductees The Advisory Council Committee represents the Advisory Council. The Advisory Council Committee handles the applications submitted and compiles the contact database, sends out the monthly Advisory Council Newsletter and oversees the nomination and voting procedures for new Inductees

EVENT COMMITTEE: Cindy Goldney The Event committee oversees the AMEHOF events including Benefits, Advisory Council mixers/meetings and the Induction Ceremony.

PUBLIC RELATIONS/MEDIA COMMITTEE: Jon Iger The Public Relations Committee acts as the liaison between the AMEHOF and all national and local media. This committee oversees all aspects of the public image of the AMEHOF.

AUDIO/VISUAL COMMITTEE: T.B.A. The A/V Committee is responsible for all Audio and Visual aspects of the AMEHOF. Film, sound recordings, photography and graphic arts come under this committee's domain.

ARCHIVE COMMITTEE: Hans Olson The Archive committee is responsible for all storage and cataloging of AMEHOF materials and exhibit artifacts. They work directly with the Physical Hall committee to store the exhibit items and keep track of them. They also store all the commercial items (T-shirts, etc.) for sale to the public and they handle the mailing of orders.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE: Hans Olson The Fundraising Committee oversees all fundraising activities including obtaining grants, donations and sponsors for AMEHOF events

INDUCTEE RELATIONS COMMITTEE: Hans Olson The Inductee Relations Committee maintains a contact database for all Inductees and posts news items on the website concerning the Inductees.

WEBSITE COMMITTEE:  Noel Fray The Website committee is concerned with anything pertaining to the website or internet content in general.

PHYSICAL HALL COMMITTEE: Lance Fuqua This committee will oversee all aspects of the actual "Hall" building and design of exhibits.

PUBLIC OUTREACH PROGRAMS COMMITTEE: Beve Cole The Public Outreach Programs Committee promotes the AMEHOF through presentations at Arizona schools, organizations, corporations and clubs.

Our Goals:

• To hold an annual induction event to induct around 10 new people every year. The Advisory Council of the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall Of Fame makes the nominations and votes on all inductions.
• To locate a facility to display historical entertainment artifacts to educate the public about Arizona entertainment history.

The success of the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame depends on the financial support of the public and the public’s desire to honor those who have contributed to the music and entertainment culture in Arizona.
